So yesterday, we had the great idea of playing volleyball twice. First we went and played with the students and principal at 4:30-6 and then decided to go back and play with the adults from 8:45-10:15....BAD IDEA! My arms have seriously never hurt so bad. I feel like I have bruises all over them and they were bright red last night. Apparently I forgot that I haven't played for like 5 years. And it didn't help that they were using a really hard ball during the adult games. It was a ton of fun, but very painful! Also, it was pretty comical of course. Kristina has never played before so we get to constantly remind her where to be and also laugh when she misses the ball and just goes "whoops!" J And Stein, the principal, is still very competitive which is absolutely hilarious. Whenever we're behind he gets all serious and tells us to focus and he gets really mad when he makes mistakes. I honestly don't know if my arms will be better to play by the time next Tuesday rolls around though!
Between playing games, we went and watched some of the 9th and 10th graders play soccer which was fun. Then after volleyball got done and we were completely worn out, we decided to lay outside on our dock for a little bit and look at the stars. It's amazing here because we can actually see a lot of the constellations! Last night we saw the big dipper, cassiopiea, and orion...probably many more too, I just don't know them. It was a nice way to relax after our busy day.
